What is a swinging stage?
A swinging stage is a purpose built modular platform suspended from the top of a building with wire ropes attached to anchor points. The platform has a winch at each end that is where the wire ropes are attached. The winches allow the platform to move up and down the face of the building providing good access to perform whatever duty or work is required. These swinging stages are used for concrete repairs, painters, window cleaning, and or general repairs to the facades of buildings.
Uses and specifications of swinging stages.
A swinging stage can be from 1 metre to 14 metres in length and must be assembled and installed by a qualified advanced scaffolder and or advanced riggers with a high risk work license. Swinging stages are versatile and have many benefits for multi-story buildings, multi level heights, cost effective, reduce manual handling risks, rapid installation, no tying to building walls.
